Evening Fun Talks

Evening Fun Talks are just that:  A gathering in the evening with environmental scientists or other biologists who introduce their work, answer questions and invite discussion from the participants.  With ESA's proximity to the greater Washington D.C. metropolitan area, we have the opportunity to contact and invite guest scientists from around the world to speak to our own community. For a schedule of these events, see our Calendar at a Glance link.

Often as not, these opportunities are serendipitous and we do not always have much advance notice.  Generally notification of these talks is given out by email.  If we do have a talk, we try to schedule it on the third Friday evening of the month.  Talks are held in a meeting room at Airlie Center.  All Evening Fun Talks are free.
