Event Details

Meet the amphibians you hear on spring evenings.  Find out how to look for the adults, their egg masses, their tadpoles and larvae, and what you can do at your home to help conserve them.  You will receive a brochure about our common local amphibians.   Mud-proof footwear highly recommended.

Things you may want to bring: camera with flash, a flashlight or headlamp, earplugs.

Please drive slowly on the drive—frogs and toads may be crossing and have right of way!

Special Note for Families

This event is especially fun for children, who will delight in the after dark adventure and the chance to see the amphibians and their eggs up close.
